It's not quite routine yet, since it is only our second season of UTSA tennis at the Racquet Club, but it is time again to get the tennis raquets outdoors where you can hit giant lobs (remember those from the fall?).
I'm going to try using this webpage/blog as a way to update information for our men's 3.0 team (results, updates, whatever Roberto and I think we want to write) - Roberto and I are co-captains and our contact information is on the right along with the 3.0 team members and our schedule.
This year we have four tennis teams at RC - two men's teams and two women's teams, a 3.0 and 3.5 for each gender. That means we need more people to play, especially for the men's 3.0 team. If you are interested in playing even a few times - check the schedule for dates you could come out - we'd love to have you sign up. Email me or Martin and we'll help you get signed up via the confusing USTA site. We really need people!
The next two important dates are this coming Saturday (May 16th) for our first practice at the Racquet Club and two weeks from then - Saturday, May 30th - for our first match. It's our only scheduled Saturday match of the season and it will be at the Racquet Club against Varsity.
